TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER


SUPERCOLLIDER HAS BEEN RE-PURPOSED AS AN ALTERNATIVE TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE FOR BLACKPOOL.

SITED AWAY FROM THE TOWN'S TRADITIONAL TOURIST MAGNETS OF THE PROMENADE, PIERS AND TOWER, THE CENTRE AIMS TO COMMUNICATE A SENSIBILITY, REALITY, ATTITUDE AND A SENSE OF PLACE THROUGH A RANGE OF ARTWORKS WHICH SEEK OUT DIALOGUE WITH THE TOWN'S RICH AND UNIQUE HERITAGE AND CONTEMPORARY CULTURAL SITUATION.


TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER AT 59 COOKSON STREET IS NOW CLOSED. NEW CENTRES WILL OPEN AT LOCATIONS ACROSS BLACKPOOL DURING 2014.
